The UniverCity is a variety of scales, but is primarily 1:12 scale (or 1" scale). That means that 1" represents 12 inches in real life. The railroad system is G-Scale (or Garden Scale) and the majority of the diecast collectable vehicles are 1:18 scale. Some of these were separate projects that have now been merged into one, so this was not intentional, nor is it ideal; however, 1:12 scale is simply not available for everything.

For security reasons, the exact address of the UniverCity is not published publicly, at least for now. Our staging location, however, is in Dover, Delaware.

We used to offer tours regularly when the UniverCity was a miniature school system. In fact, we hosted 2 local school district superintendents. However, tours were officially suspended in 2014 and security has been significantly increased since the institution's conversion to a military intelligence simulation in 2018. As for now, tours are not given publicly. But special requests can be entertained. Contact us for more information.

The UniverCity has existed since 1994. However, the oldest current building is the Charlotte-Southe Centre for Intelligence which has been under construction since 2007. So, as of 2021, the UniverCity has been under construction for 14 years, and this is mainly due to its size. Nothing is completely finished as of yet. There are areas that are nearly finished, but there are also areas that are still completely empty.

Overall, no. While there are some "conventional dollhouses" within the UniverCity, the majority of the buildings are built from scratch using alternative methods as well as unconventional materials. While the majority of the buildings are framed using wood, the marble and granite floors and walls are actually made of marble and granite. The brick walls are actually brick tiles --- each of which had to be glued by hand. And, of course, glass walls and windows, are actually made of glass with the exception of the conventional dollhouse windows that you see in any miniatures or hobby store. And the electrification is certainly not conventional.
